Ads for Colleges have just gotten a whole lot more enticing thanks to this short video done by students at the 3D College in Denmark. The video project was conceived in order to boost interest and enrollment in the school.
The video depicts a bleak post-apocalyptic outer space setting. The setting is some sort of barren land, a massive space monster slithers through a giant mound of human skulls and at least one full skeleton still clad in its space suit. The video is set up as an ad for an imaginary film entitled Biomorph.
This video is fantastically eerie and a great way to spark interest in potential students who desire to create similar videos, or just do something that looks as cool as that. Hopefully more animation programs and colleges will use a similar strategy and bring us more innovative and exciting videos like the 3D College did.
