360-Degree Picture Books

Yusuke Oono's 3D Book Brings New Dimension to the Snow White Story

Yusuke Oono is known for creating some incredible fan-style 3D books that give entirely new dimensions to familiar stories. After being announced the winner of Loftwork's You Face contest in 2012, Oono is now working with the agency and publisher Seigensha for a set of 360-degree picture books.

One of the books from the set provides a look into the story of Snow White through a dynamic diorama. The book opens like a fan, with half of the book's pages in green and the other half in white. The other most prominent color in the 3D book is red, which appears only on the apples scattered throughout the book.

In addition to taking on a unique way of telling Snow White's tale, Oono's second book for Seigensha offers a 360-degree look at Japan's iconic Mount Fuji.
