The Spring/Summer 2012 25 Magazine ‘Impersonification’ editorial provides a bizarre look at Estonian model Carmen Kass. While Kass has been involved in a series of high fashion productions alongside brands like Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Fendi and Chanel, she has yet to take on the roles of man, mime and glamor girl all at once.
The multiple personalities that were assumed by Kass in Impersonification were taken by photographer Yelena Yemchuk. Yemchuk’s capture of Kass with facial hair and face paint provides a playful take on style and culture with humorous twists. While many couture photoshoots are serious or sensual, Kass and Yemchuk have instead brandished a lighter take on the display of sequined dresses and sheer bodysuits.
