Gloomy Fashion Illustrations

Cassandra Rhodin's Watercolors Mix 1920s Style and Sadness

It seems that illustrators are going mad for watercolors these days. These lovely, enigmatic black-and-white drawings and watercolor illustrations are made by Swedish fashion illustrator Cassandra Rhodin.

I really dig the 1920s style with a good twist of gloom--or perhaps it's just the black and white silent movie vibe--that these characters seem to evoke. Anyhow, Miss Rhodin has a great talent here, which I hope to see much more of--perhaps through a commercial career as a fashion/ industrial illustrator?
