Golden Planter Lighting

Nir Meiri's 19 Pots Lamp Explores the Idea of Rural Landscapes

I feel as though the 19 Pots light fixture will inspire crafty individuals to try to create their own pendant lamp out of flower planters. Of course, I don't think that anyone will be able to succeed at making it look as whimsical, elegant and sophisticated as this one.

Created by Tel Aviv-based artist Nir Meiri, the 19 Pots light fixture is made up of, you guessed it, 19 pots. With the planters' exterior painted black, their inner golden finish glows even more warmly and beautifully. The 19 Pots lighting project was inspired by the examination of rural landscapes.

The 19 Pots light fixtures are currently on display at the Paradigma Design Gallery in Israel as part of the Gold Mine exhibition.
