100 Smiles is Sure to Spread a Spike of Happiness

100 Smiles, a project created by the Yale Graphic Design grad Juan Astasio, will stimulate a spike in serotonin among even the most morose. Astasio pointed his camera at smiles that he found all around him; he then uploaded the pics to a website with a changing neon background and added the song Always Look on the Bright Side of Life by Eric Idle.

I was not entirely sure what I was looking when I first saw the 100 Smiles website, but within a minute I had a full-blown smile on my face. If you are in an office setting or around other people, make sure to plug in some earphones, as the music is loud enough to cause a stir.
