Quirky Vintage Commercials

Skellefteå Kraft's '100% Renewable Advertising' Reuses Vintage Footage

Skellefteå Kraft, a Swedish electricity company, recently announced its renewable energy for businesses and private consumers with the launch of its 100% Renewable Advertising commercial.

The video makes use of vintage commercials by the company from the 1960s and 1970s with quirky voiceovers. In addition, the funds that would have been used to produce the video were donated to "smart environmental stuff instead."

This is not the first sustainable initiative put forward by Skellefteå Kraft; the Swedish electricity company also launched the world´s first solar-powered off grid-house called Zero Sun.

As more brands position themselves as eco-friendly, this unique approach to advertising Skellefteå Kraft's new renewable energy commitment will help the brand connect with consumers while increasing brand awareness.
