The latest offering from designer Manuel Bolano, entitled 'A milion of promises, a milion of Scars,' was presented on the runway as part of the 080 Barcelona Fashion event last week. The Fall/Winter 2012 collection from the designer showed both its men's and women's collections together and were unified as a cohesive whole with the collection's use of modern tailoring, patterns, avant-garde style and draping details.
The models who walked the runway also all adorned makeup that made them look as if they had recently been beaten and bruised. The diverse collection of evening wear, outerwear, suited separates and casual wear was heavy in its use of flamboyant additions, such as spikes, bold color combinations and feathers just to name a few. With previous awards won for having the best in women’s collections at the 080 Barcelona Fashion event in the past, who knows what the outcome of this year's diverse and current offering from Manuel Bolano will achieve.
