Zoe Green

British artist Zoe Green wanted to spread some joy in her quiet village community, so she decided to get up at 5am one morning and decorate the bus stops, pavements and street lamps.

The charming project, which the artist calls ‘Happy Street Day’ saw the artist tying balloons to street signs and public phone boxes as well as leaving positive messages on stuck to a lamppost using Post-its. Zoe says she embarked on this project as a way to spread joy and reconnect with her disconnected urban community.

The admirable project is sure to gain the artist a lot of new fans for her out of the box thinking and kind acts towards her neighbours. Oh her blog, Zoe explained: "I don’t intend to change the world, but I know that if you brighten one person’s day, they are highly likely to brighten someone else’s day."
