Serhii Makhno Unveils the ZEMLYA Series of Ceramic Art

Ukranian artist and ceramicist Serhii Makhno presents his first-every gallery exhibition in the form of the ZEMLYA show which is on display at Les Ateliers Courbet in New York City. It is comprised of large-scale ceramic artwork that is made to function as both decor and functional pieces.

It is made in the artist's studio in Kyiv with the help of his team of master artisans. With the new installation, Makhno continues to build on the foundation of his work with ceramic art and sculptural lighting by pushing boundaries of new scales and functions. Working with the gallery founder Melanie Xourbey, the two developed the new series and it marks his first capsule of ceramic furniture design.
