The Yo-Yo Lamp by Almerich is Playfully Sophisticated

The Yo-Yo Lamp is a playful interpretation of the classic child's toy. It features two discs attached to an axel. But instead of winding and unwinding like an actual yo-yo, this axle essentially acts as a convenient spool for the access wire, which there is a lot of since it is close to close to 33 feet long.

Designed by Spanish lighting company Estudio Almerich, the Yo-Yo Lamp is strangely sophisticated despite being inspired by a plaything. It emits a soft, cool light that contrasts nicely with its red, fabric-covered cord. Available in two versions (floor and pendant), the Yo-Yo Lamp is made out of rotational-molded polymer and steel-finished metal parts. Sleek and simple, it would complement any home decor.
