In-Car Reservation Apps

The Yelp Reservation App is Now Available in Buick Cars

Automaker Buick recently partnered with Yelp to include Yelp Reservations in the infotainment systems in its cars. This marks the first time Yelp Reservations has been embedded in vehicles, according to Sam Russell, director of Buick marketing. The feature will not come pre-installed in Buick infotainment systems but will be available for download on the Buick Marketplace, ensuring even owners of older vehicles can still take advantage of the feature.

With this new feature in vehicles, drivers can search for top dining spots within a 25-mile radius of their current location. Users can make reservations through the system but may also view ratings, price points, phone numbers and navigation to selected eateries. While Yelp Reservations is still in beta, the service does provide recommendations for American, Asian, Vegetarian and Mexican restaurants.
