The XSensrAIR is Dazzling Extreme Sport Enthusiasts At CES 2015

The XsensrAIR sensor is a device, on show at CES 2015, that is designed to help extreme sport enthusiasts take their performance to the next level by giving their real-time feedback on different aspects of their performance.

The sensor adopts a square shape and is very compact, which is of course hugely important if you're going to be attaching it to skis, snowboards or mountain bikes. Indeed this sensor measures just 1.97 x 0.83 inches, and weighs only 14 grams.

It gather data on jump height, speed, landing impact, rotation and airtime and sends relevant data to a companion smartphone app.

The XsensrAIR sensor can be charged via USB, with the battery good to work for a full day on a single charge. It is available for pre-order for $179.95, with shipping expected to commence in February.
