Sotheby's is Set to Put the World's Largest Toy Collection on Sale

Sotheby's recently acquired the world's largest toy collection and are now preparing to put the massive myriad of rare vintage toys up for grabs.

With an estimated value in the tens of millions, the Jerthi collection is the world's largest toy collection. This series was painstakingly built over the course of 50 years by collector Jerry Greene and is comprised of a staggering 35,000 individual toys made between 1850 and 1940. Many of the toys are completely unique and represent some of the finest works from the "golden age of toys," and as a result, the auction is expected to raise a sizable fortune.
