An Anonymous Artist's Art Personifies the World Cup Countries

Inspired by all of the excitement of the 2014 Brazil World Cup, an anonymous artist created a vibrant series of anime characters inspired by all of the 32 participating World Cup countries.

The unofficial mascots proudly wear their country colors, sport symbols for the country and bear the country flags, sports brand and team logos with pride. Each of the personified countries has a unique character too, like the ferocious armor-wearing German, the regal Greek lady, who looks just like a goddess posed with a Brazuca ball and the playful, party-ready Brazilian dressed in festival attire. The whole series is pretty entertaining and worth checking out to see all 32 of the countries turned into sultry anime characters.
