Whimsical AR Games

'Woorld' is a Silly and Playful AR Game from the Maker of 'Katamari'

'Woorld' is a new augmented reality game from Keita Takahashi, the creator of the beloved 'Katamari Damacy' and 'Noby Noby Boy' games. Featuring the same whimsical and silly spirit that initially endeared gamers to Takahashi, Woorld brings that playfulness into the real world -- albeit through the mediation of a smartphone.

In Woorld, players place objects within their actual surroundings thanks to the cameras on their smartphones. To succeed in the game, players need to find the right interactions between the various AR objects in the quasi-fictional environment.

Woorld is powered by Google's 'Project Tango,' a 3D mapping system. The game is currently available in the Google Play Store. However, the only device that can currently run Woorld is the Levovo Phab2 Pro; gamers with different devices will have to wait for a compatible version.
