Woolybubs Debuts the Newbie, the World's First Disappearing Baby Shoe

Woolybubs, a startup dedicated to producing eco-friendly kids' shoes, has announced the launch of the Newbie, a 100% biodegradable baby shoe designed to completely dissolve in boiling water.

Dubbed the "the world's first disappearing baby shoe," the Newbie was created for parents looking to reduce the amount of waste that comes with raising a child. In addition, the shoe features a flexible sole that supports a baby's natural foot development.

"As parents of three, we’ve seen first-hand the waste that comes with having kids. Hand-me-downs are a great option, but eventually, they wear out and end up in landfills. The idea behind the Newbie was to create a product that will disappear once outgrown, leaving behind less harm to the planet," said Megan Millikan, co-founder of Woolybubs.
