Earlier this year, Zurich-based textile label ZigZagZurich launched a range of cotton blankets and now returns with a new collection of wool blankets designed by a series of artists. The label works alongside artists from all over the world to create new designs inspired by different kinds of artwork and graphics. The specific focus delves into Pop Art as well as the Bauhaus Movement. To capture the essence, the label introduces a 'twisted yarn' to produce a melange color visual that gives the blankets additional texture.
ZigZagZurich drew in Mexico-based artist Daniel Berreto as well to assist artists Sophie Probst and Michele Rondelli on the expansive range of wool blankets. The collection will be available for purchase online at ZigZagZurich in September this year.
