Florida's Walt Disney World just hosted the grand opening of the newest section of the park, Toy Story Land, and with that comes the opening of the highly anticipated restaurant, Woody's Lunch Box. Designed to look just like a giant lunchbox propped open by an equally giant thermos, the new restaurant is perfect for kids and adults with a penchant for nostalgia.
Woody's Lunch Box is a new quick-service restaurant that is designed to look like Andy (the character from 'Toy Story') left his lunchbox out on the grass. Inside the restaurant is a menu fit for a kid, with options ranging from tater-tot nachos and grilled cheese, to s'mores French toast and gourmet Pop-Tarts. There are a even a few healthy options available to please the grown-ups. As the theme park's Concept Development Culinary Director Lenny DeGeorge explains, "Everyone has a special food memory, so it can be tricky putting a modern spin on the favorites. How we constructed the sandwiches was important."
