'Girls Who Code' Mocks the Sterotypes Women in Tech Jobs Deal With

This video by the nonprofit organization 'Girls Who Code' fights against the sexist stereotypes that women in tech jobs often have to put up with.

As technology industries tend to me male-dominated, the women who work in them can be singled out by a culture of ignorance. The video shows how completely absurd this is and the female subjects parody reasons given for their alleged incompetence.

Beginning with the question, "Why can't girls code?" women in tech jobs answer with hilarious responses. The first girl explains "Yeah I've tried to get into coding but my cleavage is just so distracting," the next responds with, "I can't code, because my long eyelashes make it hard to see the screen" and another states, "It's hard to code when you can't stop crying."
