A Russian startup by the name Reasonance has taken advantage of the virtual CES 2021 event by unleashing a next-generation wireless TV that doesn't merely receive signals without a cable, but also manages to transmit power the same way.
The prototype wireless TV makes use of magnetic resonance technology that works in conjunction with an embedded reception coil and an electrical transmitter, allowing it to transmit power over a range of 3.3 feet. What's more, the coil's perpendicular positioning relative to the TV means it can be easily stowed within furniture without any problems in signal reception.
