Menswear-Inspired Technical Workwear

Willy Chavarria and Kansas Work Together for a FW19 Capsule

Willy Chavarria and Kansas work in collaboration on a collection for the Fall/Winter 2019 season -- it was showcased recently during Paris Fashion Week earlier last month. Chavarria chose to work with the Danish workwear label due to its intricate placement of functional fashion elements. He was drawn to the way that the label features pockets, incorporate technical fabrication, and place graphic accents.

Chavarria also spent time living in both New York City and Copenhagen, Demark. There, he was inspired by the menswear design -- specifically the workwear of those who build the Danish setting. He uses his own personal aesthetic and style into the collaborative capsule's silhouette, whilst also letting Kansas' signature style show through.
