In light of the ever-increasing ground-breaking combinations that combine technology with design, designer Tad Orlowski has designed an interactive bus advertisement scheme that features transparent LCD screens on the sides of a bus called the 'Willie' bus.
With the intention of redesigning conventional buses with transparent side elevations, the bus acts like an interactive and organic frame that wraps around its side, providing advertisements and entertainment to the general public. The billboard also provides information, such as route plans for passengers, weather reports, press and TV coverage.
On the interactive frame, Orlowski says he wants to create "an impression of restless energy attempting to cut through the unblemished surface of the glass [screen]." The innovative screen will help to transform the bus industry and introduce it into the new age of technological advancements.
