Wicked Kitchen Ice Cream is Made With Mediterranean Lupini Beans

Wicked Kitchen, an emerging vegan dessert brand, has launched Wicked Kitchen Ice Cream, its first dairy-free ice cream line, which is made using a unique ingredient: lupini beans, a popular legume in the Mediterranean. The new legume-based ice cream will be offered in several flavors, including Chocolate, Vanilla, Cookie Dough, and Mint Chocolate Chip.

In addition, the brand will offer a series of handheld ice cream bars, which will be available in two flavors: Chocolate & Almond and Berry White. As of right now, Wicked Kitchen's one-of-a-kind plant-based ice cream is set to hit shelves in close to 2,200 Kroger-owned stores.

"As chefs, we are in constant creation mode and lead with flavors and textures, our next innovations are sure to be big hits, for all types of eaters," said Derek Sarno, Wicked Kitchen's Co-Founder. "These ice creams are unlike anything else available in the US."
