White Elephant by Sipho Mabona is Made from a Large Sheet of Paper

Arguably one of the most impressive origami feats to date has been achieved with the White Elephant by Sipho Mabona, an artist based in Luzern, Switzerland. After successfully raising over $26,000 from 631 funders on Indiegogo, the artist finally attempted to create the creature out of a single large piece of paper measuring 15 meters by 15 meters (50 by 50 feet).

A webcam installed in the gallery it was folded in showed audiences how the White Elephant by Sipho Mabona was constructed. The process was not without its obstacles. From spreading the huge sheet of paper on the gallery floor to actually folding it, Mabona managed to overcome the impossible to create his White Elephant.
