Plant-Feeding Urinals

'When Nature Calls' Lets You Grow Greenery With Your Urine

'When Nature Calls' is a conceptual design for a men's urinal that lets you do your business and help plants grow at the same time. Designed by Eddie Gandelman, 'When Nature Calls' has four urinals ringed around it and an advanced filtration system designed to purify urine.

The notion of using urine to water plants is not new. Many drunks have argued with police that they were doing the same thing, albeit to no avail. 'When Nature Calls' would let you legally feed plants with your waste water and would make male bathrooms a much more inviting place. I actually would like to see Gandelamn take his idea a step further and maybe plant some fruits or vegetables in the urinals. Restaurants and bars that use the urinals could cut costs and carbon at the same time. Just don't ask where the lime in your Corona came from.
