The WeMo Smart Home Platform Unveils New Additions at CES

The WeMo Smart Home Platform by Belkin continues to expand with the introduction of several new home gadgets, all of which made their debut at CES 2015.

Each of the four wireless apparatuses require the WeMo Link plug-in hub to function. The first gadget is the WeMo Room Motion Sensor, which, unlike other motion sensors, is not prone to false alarms triggered by pets, due to infrared sensor technology that has the ability to read heat signatures.

The WeMo Keychain Sensor is another addition to the smart home platform. The sensor keeps track of where users put their keys, so they're no longer in danger of being late because they misplaced them. The other gadgets included in the platform are an alarm sensor as well as a door and window sensor.
