The Wave Electric Violin Makes Learning to Classically Shred Easy

Jaewon Hwang's Wave Electric Violin is a conceptual instrument meant to cut down the amount of practice time needed to go from an amateur to a pro. Hwang was inspired to create the Wave Electric violin after spending 10 years practicing violin every day. The concept features several features designed to make practicing easier.

For starters, the chin rest on the Wave is adjustable and features a small knob that can be used to auto tune the sound. Better yet, Braille bumps on the Wave's neck help students perfect their fingering. The violin can also function in acoustic mode should you want to shred like its 1699. The violin was designed as a concept for Yamaha, and though it may not be made, don't be shocked if a few of its features make it into future electric violins.
