Watch the Cradle Depicts Hip-Hop Captions Under Hilarious Photos

Among all the photo blogs online, Watch the Cradle is the only one that is hilarious, adorable and wrong at the same time. Either way, pictures of infants combined with hip-hop lyrics as captions is a genius idea.

Watch the Cradle is a hilarious Tumblr blog that’s a play off Jay-Z and Kanye West’s titled album Watch the Throne. The site posts submissions of cute infants in pictures that for some odd reason, seems to coordinate with the hip-hop duo’s lyrics unusually well. Lines from songs such as N*ggas in Paris and Welcome to the Jungle all make an appearance in these outrageous photos proving that all babies have an inner gangsta.

After seeing this blog, I’m going to dig up my own baby pictures, just to see if my young '80s self is street enough to match the lyrics of Gotta Have It.
