Miuccia Prada’s Fall 2009 RTW collection is battle ready, with armor-inspired dresses, thigh-high wedge-heeled boots leashed to skinny leather belts and high-heeled rain boots with stocking straps.
Strips of leather and black rivets create a warrior fringe look on the mini-dresses which were worn with Prada Trojan helmet-inspired shoes.
The ‘kicker’ of the collection for me though, was the near-hip wader high boots. With this footwear, you’ll be ready for a flood, or maybe a day of fly-fishing.
