Until quite recently, most luxury items were created to be very heavy, which often suggested the quality of the item; however, the Volo Chair proves just the opposite. Instead of being a super heavy chair, it is super light. In fact, its name Volo means "I fly" in Latin, driving that message home.
Created by German designer Andreas Störiko for the Swedish manufacturer Lammhults, the Volo Chair is made out of leather, mesh and steel. To maintain a featherlight feel, the steel used happens to be aluminum tubing and the mesh middle offsets the heaviness of the comfortable leather border and footrest.
The Volo chair also pivots and swivels, moving easily with the sitter to ensure an ergonomic and convenient seated experience.
