For those of you familiar with performance artist Marina Abramovic's eccentric work, you'll probably be surprised by her latest artistic endeavor titled Volano Flambe. Although it is first and foremost an art piece, it also doubles as a delicious dessert.

Prepared by chef Kevin Lasko, Volano Flambe is a bit of a mystery. A chocolate ice cream center is coated with meringue, decorated with gold leaf and a swirl of spun sugar, placed on chocolate cookie crumbs and flambéed with rum. Is your mouth watering yet?
