Pictorial Food Recipes

This Artist Has Created Visual Food Recipes Through Single Images

Artist Mikkel Jul Hvilshøj created beautiful visual food recipes that display every ingredient and the form of preparation in one single image. The amazing food display is a beautifully recreated recipe guide to teach people how and what to cook.

The images are taken from an overhead view. Each image is arranged in a precise form that reads like a book -- from left to right and top to bottom. The ingredients are all in order and the last portion of the image is the pot or pan in which the ingredients are meant to cook in.

For example, one image teaches the viewer how to make the perfect pasta sauce. The first piece of the image is the lid to the pot, then in a perfectly spaced out order, the ingredients of zucchini, tomatoes, garlic, oil, peppers and salt are displayed. The visual food recipes make great kitchen decor as well.
