The Vilu Light is Modeled After a Chilean Tale About Two Battling Snakes

The Vilu Light might look like a metal slug, but it was actually inspired by another species. Heavily influenced by a Chilean myth about two gigantic snakes battling over a piece of land, the Vilu Light takes the form of islands left in the wake of such devastation. There is also a snake-like quality to the design due to its long, thin shape and scale-like body.

Designed by Chile-based Studio gt2P (Great Things to People) for DH PH (Den Herder Production House), a distributer of custom products, the Vilu Light blends old with the new on more than one level. It uses digital techniques and craftsmanship to create a tribute to such a time-tested tale. The look of it is also quite medieval.
