Android Verified Authentication Will Now Available on iOS Devices

Previously Google enabled verified authentication for Android devices that can run Android 7.0 and beyond, however now this will be rolling out to iOS. A new achievement for Google was that it no longer needed the iOS device to be paired via Bluetooth with a Chrome Os device, allowing for more compatibility when doing 2FA. This means that as of recently, Android security phones can verify log-ins from iPhone and iPads.

This process is done by the Google Smart Lock app, which is utilized to link with the 2FA request to the Android security key to complete this process. Google has stated that this feature can now be used for G Suite editions.
