The Vegetable Oil-Powered Mitsubishi Van Sets World Record

Tyson Jerry and Cloe Whittaker have been travelling on their vegetable-powered Mitshubishi van that has set a world record for journey on alternative fuel. The project, known as Driven to Sustain, has been designed to educated and promote environmental sustainability in Schools and the media. As a part of the project, Tyson Jerry and Cloe Whittaker visit schools, meet environmentalists and share their knowledge with communities. 

Tyson Jerry and Cloe Whittaker’s Mitshubishi van, nicknamed ‘The Green Machine,’ runs completely on vegetable oil and reaches 22.6 miles a gallon. Tyson Jerry and Cloe Whittaker have already travelled 38,137 kilometres and still continuing to spread their message in every state, province and territory in the United States and Canada.
