Chloe Galea Designs a Strong Identity for Makeup Brand Uzuri

Uzuri might be a new brand of makeup concerned with high quality cosmetics made with natural ingredients, but the packaging created to promote the products is much more steeped in modern design and artistic aesthetics. Through the use of optical illustions, Uzuri embraces "the idea of makeup as a way of creating illusions," as written by the Berlin-based designer, Chloe Galea.

Comprised of four seasonal looks, Uzuri products come in easily portable and compact designs that fit neatly into a matching paper bag. Although the Uzuri packaging adhere to standard shapes and sizes, the use of such busy patterns trick the eye into viewing them differently. Each piece has been carefully created to complement each other so that they fit together seamlessly both visually and physically. This makes them easier to manage.
