Ultra-Luxurious Artisan Chocolates

Daniel Gomez's 'Glorious' Chocolate is a True Work of Art

Portuguese chocolatier Daniel Gomez's 'Glorious' chocolate is a fully divine piece of culinary art that costs a staggering $9,489. The piece of chocolate has already been dubbed the world’s most expensive chocolate by The Guinness World Records and owes its value to the incredibly rare ingredients used to make it. Daniel Gomez's Glorious chocolate features equatorial black Valrhona chocolate, saffron filaments, Périgord white truffle, white truffle oil, Madagascar vanilla and gold flakes, as well as a secret ingredient that Gomez refuses to name.

Daniel Gomez's Glorious chocolate was recently displayed at Óbidos,Portugal, under close security. However, the chocolate has recently left the exhibit and will be up for purchase in select countries such as UAE, Russia, Angola and Argentina. Gomez has gone on to create 1,000 editions of the ultra-luxurious chocolate with each piece coming packaged with a black lacquered wooden base with a gold serial number engraving and a crystal cloche.
