Uber Eats Prescription Delivery Offers Easy Access to Medication

The Uber Eats prescription delivery is being expanded by the brand after a successful trial in Dallas, Texas and will provide New York City residents with an even easier way to access their essential medications.

The service is powered by the Nimble technology platform and will enable consumers to easily get a prescription refill or fill a new one from the pharmacies in their neighborhood. Customers can easily manage their medications from within the Uber Eats app and will be able to keep an eye on their order in real-time from the pharmacy to their door.

Uber US GM for New Verticals Kiran Vinta spoke on the new Uber Eats prescription delivery saying, "At Uber, we’re hard at work making Uber Eats your go-to destination for much more than food from your favorite restaurant, corner store or grocer. I’m excited to announce that we’re one step closer to delivering that reality to our consumers everywhere with the launch of on-demand prescription delivery in the U.S., powered by our partner Nimble. Now more than ever, people are looking for ways to safely and conveniently get the things they need, and we’re proud to bring the very best parts of Uber to prescription delivery."
