Tyrrells Recently Launched Its Black-and-White 'Splendid' Commercial

Potato crisps brand Tyrrells recently launched its 'Splendid' commercial. This is the company's very first time advertising on TV. The chip company partnered with creative directors at St Lukes's agency to bring us a nostalgic black-and-white commercial.

The funny ad features breaking news being shared with the public. The news broadcaster shares that the chips are made with 30% less fat than previous bags. Things quickly get chaotic as the town is in a frenzy to buy up the flavorful bags of chips. The only colorful images seen in the ad are the crisp lentil chips, as the brand implies their product is far ahead of its time.

"Our new campaign continues to focus on the amazing and authentic taste of Tyrrells crisps and why they are the perfect snack for a premium sharing experience with friends and family," said Dan Winslet, global marketing controller at Tyrrells.
