Twitter Gains Entry into Dictionary as Both a Verb and Noun

Twitter has taken over our computers with its 140 character convenience, and now it's even taking over our dictionaries.

Twitter will be officially entered into the dictionary later this year. If you're wondering (and I'm sure you are), Twitter will be entered as both a noun and a verb. What's more, Twitterverse and Twitterati will also be entered.

Implications - It's not surprising that this social media giant has found a spot in the dictionary forever more. Even grandparents have heard what Twitter is and some even have accounts! There is probably not one person who has been on the Internet that has not seen the famous share button for Twitter in robin's egg blue with a big 'T' or a bird pictured on it. Now excuse me while I go Tweet about Twitter in the Twitterverse.
