Vans' Checkerboar Shoes Gets a Trapezoid Design Iteration

Vans introduces a Trapezoid iteration of the Slip-On sneaker model, keeping the signature checkerboard pattern across most of the upper. The pattern has been a notable one since the 70s and most famously seen on the aforementioned Slip-On silhouette.

The shoe is named 'Trapezoid' as the geometric pattern can be seen on the forefoot in black and white informed with a canvas base foundation. The shoe is then paired with some bright hues including red, green, yellow, and blue. The left shoe sees red and green and the right shoe has yellow and blue details. To root the shoes with some muted hues, there is a black suede overlay at the heel sitting atop a white midsole foundation.
