Mint Your Digital Twin with Trace Network Lab's 'Buddy'

Web3 startup Trace Network Labs has announced the launch of Buddy, a new metaverse avatar creation tool that enables users to create true-to-life digital twins of themselves. Unlike other Web3 avatar builders, Buddy focuses on recreating a user's exact physical characteristics but in digital form.

What's more, Trace Network Labs will allow its Buddy users to mint their digital avatars on Polygon Blockchain, which features no additional "gas" fees. Users will be able to create their avatars using front-facing photos (selfies), which the company's AI will be able to automatically render into digital models. From there, the digital models will then be stored on Polygon Blockchain as an NFT.

"With the launch of Buddy, we are empowering the residents of metaverses to create fashionable, real-looking, and human-like digital avatars; after all, what you look like and wear, defines you, your lifestyle, and shapes your personality as well," said Sunil Arora, co-founder of Trace Network Labs.
