Typographic Spinning Toys

Sugar For All Created These Toy Dreidels Adorned with Type

Sugar For All, a team of graphic and communicative designers based out of Germany, created a lovely duo of toy dreidels. The traditional Hebrew toy combines its classic aesthetic with modern graphics and typography. They are a part of a project called 'Wooden Objects with Lettering.'

The old-fashioned spinners are handcrafted with gorgeous wood that was smoothed to perfection. Usually, dreidels are left in their raw wooden form and are then painted, but the creatives behind Sugar For All, added a simple concept to make a bold toy that is so nice it could just be used for display purposes.

The dreidels, aptly called 'Typo Spinners,' are covered in black letter designs from top to bottom. However, just don't try to read the letters while you play the game. A dreidel won't be the only thing spinning -- so will your head.
