Alcohol-Free Pregnancy Campaigns

The 'Too Young to Drink' Campaign Promotes Alcohol-Free Pregnancy

The European Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Alliance is launching its 'Too Young to Drink' campaign, that aims to raise awareness of the considerable risks of drinking alcohol during pregnancy. The campaign was conceived by Fabrica, and marks International Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Day.

The campaign consists of photographs of fetuses and newborn babies immersed in bottles of beer, whine, whiskey, vodka and other alcoholic liquids. The photos are disturbing and linger on in the memory well after you're done looking at them, which is the whole point of the campaign. This hard-hitting campaign aims to spread awareness of the problems caused by prenatal exposure to alcohol, which include physical defects, behavioral problems and mental illnesses.

The Too Young to Drink campaign is also accompanied by a video and a film showing
