Hunky Postage Stamps

The Steamy ‘Tom of Finland’ Stamp Collection Celebrates Queer Culture

Finland-based postal service provider Posti announced the launch of a postage stamp sheet containing three stamps featuring the steamy, homoerotic drawings of renowned erotic artist and ##### icon Touko Laaksonen, better known as Tom of Finland.

Laaksonen produced around 3,500 drawings, two of which were selected for the stamp collection by graphic artist Timo Berry, who designed the stamp sheet. The sheet is emblazoned with an image of a muscular, mustachioed, uniformed man with a cigarette dangling from his lips sitting on a chair, with a naked man happily sitting between his legs. The top and bottom of the image can be peeled away to form two stamps.

A separate image depicts a tight pair of male buttocks with a handsome, mustachioed face suggestively peeking out from between a pair of well-toned legs.

The stamps are heralded as displaying "confident and proud homoeroticism."
