Toast Launches a Collection of "Creatively Repaired" Garments

Fashion and leisure brand Toast has introduced a line of "creatively repaired pieces for increased longevity" to highlight "the beauty in the process of repairs."

As circular and secondhand fashion continues dominating the fashion industry, Toast has joined the list of brands launching sustainable fashion initiatives. A Toast repair specialist "who takes fabric, color, and texture into consideration before starting on the repair" examines each piece from the damaged products from Toast shops and those returned to the warehouse by consumers. Then, the product is mended and redesigned, giving it a new life.

According to Toast, each repair is customized for the item and displays the "unique handwriting" of its staff of six repair experts. The Toast 'Renewed' collection is only available online, with more designs coming later this year.
