Tijmen van Gurp Predicts Outdoor Conditions in the Home

Tijmen van Gurp has come up with a creative way to predict weather conditions before you step outdoors.

The project entitled ‘Weather Inside’ was conceived for a school project on adaptive and informative skin. Tijmen van Gurp designed the installation to try to prove that information can be gathered through other means. With that in mind, he decided to show that weather conditions can be predicted without the use of technology. Tijmen Van Gurp hopes that one day his project will predict the different elements of weather and mimic them subconsciously.
