Resumes for Water

'Thirsty Talent' Offers Professional Writing that Funds Clean Water in Africa

We've recently come across a variety of communications services -- ranging from marketing and PR -- that are incorporating giving into their business model. Building on the theme of cause-conscious creative agencies, ThirstyTalent is a professional writing service that has formed a partnership with GlobalWater.org. For each writing package they sell, they're committed to providing at least a gallon of clean drinking water to a child in Africa.

"We are a very flexible service and deliver quality work on resumes, personal summaries, sales letters, marketing copy, and web content," the Facebook page explains.

ThirstyTalent was founded in 2010 by Ralph Hoffarber and Kwame Essieh, both 20-something social entrepreneurs based in Portland, Oregon.

"We want to help those that struggle with any type of writing," Hoffarber says in a press release. "A lot of young professionals struggle with words so we’d like to be their alternative whenever possible. At the same time, we’ve partnered with GlobalWater.org—an organization that has made huge contributions to the fight against the water crisis."
