The World's Wackiest Hotel Rooms

Hotel rooms come in different shapes and sizes, but I bet you’ve never seen anything like these twisted lodging alternatives before.
From a room made of chocolate in Paris to coffin beds in Germany to "Free Spirit Tree Spheres" in British Columbia, some of the world’s wackiest hotel rooms have truly pushed the boundaries of what can be used as shelter.
While some, like the grounded jet in Stockholm or the former bomb shelter in Switzerland, are prime examples of how to reuse an abandoned space, others, like the dog shaped hotel in Idaho and Giraffe Manor in Kenya, are prime examples of imagination and ingenuity.
Prices for these unique lodging alternatives range from $200 to stay in an abandoned oil rig survival pod in a river in the Netherlands to a "pay what you can" policy to stay in a piece of 10-tonne drainage pipe turned hotel room in Austria.
